Role Summary

Having been through a successful digital transformation over the last three years, technology is right at the heart of LOD, underpinning every facet of the business.  LOD is a cloud-native organisation working with some of the most exciting technologies on the market in innovative ways. The transformation journey is far from over, with continuous improvement enabled across all departments.

To help support the next step on the journey, an exciting new role is being created. As part of a highly innovative Global Tech team, this will be a crucial role for the organisation and will have broad responsibilities. The Support Analyst will work closely with the Head of Systems and Support and the Systems Administrator and is responsible for the support and daily operations of systems and infrastructure within the LOD's Group, which includes networking, telephony, service monitoring, user support/helpdesk, workstation management and related software. This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environment and the general maintenance of all related hardware/software.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of LOD’s helpdesk and provide 1st and 2nd line support and assistance. Troubleshooting and identifying root cause when needed, installing, and maintaining software and hardware.
  • Escalate issues to System Administrator and/or Head of Systems and Support where necessary
  • Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot any issues as they arise
  • Ensure the security of LOD’s infrastructure through hardware and software
  • Perform system administration tasks such as AD and AAD administration, security permissions, group policies
  • Maintain hardware and software assets
  • Provide day-to-day maintenance and support on issues and requests related to Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, Defender, Intune, Dynamics, OneDrive and Teams)
  • Support device management process via MDM and MAM (Including Intune and Autopilot)
  • Take ownership of tasks related to the creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites, user and group account permissions and content maintenance
  • Undertake small to medium size projects as instructed by supervisors.
  • Create and update technical information and user guides.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams), Microsoft Office 2016 and/or M365 Office, Windows 7 or higher.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive “can do” attitude, energy, and enthusiasm – ability to turn hand to whatever the business needs are at any level of the organisation
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience applying security best practices into solution design and delivery
  • Excellent communication skills adapting to the audience
